He and I have always been on informal terms, and he always speaks bluntly, even if I do not.
Kageyama: “I thought I was getting a pretty good result when I played White 26, and Hashimoto genuinely admired my moves.”
Yamabe: “That just proves you can’t tell when he’s being sarcastic; and speaking of White 26, that narrow extension was too miserable for words.”
